Sub plans

Directions
  • Click on title of the book, watch and listen to the story.
  • Discuss story with class, then pass out one sheet of paper to each student.
  • Have students label paper with name and class code.
  • Follow along with corresponding guided drawing, feel free to pause when needed. Use pencil to draw.
  • Complete using pencils, Sharpies, markers, crayons, and colored sticks from drawing carts. If time allows, fill in the background as well.
  • Collect all drawings at the end of class for grades 2-5. Kindergarten and 1st grade may take home drawings.
