Welcome to Ms. Dodd's Online Classroom!
RCS launches distance learning plan during COVID-19 shutdown. While nothing can replace face-to-face interaction with an educator, access to instructional materials is essential during an extended closure. Beginning the week of April 6, 2020, RCS will offer optional assignments and activities to keep students engaged throughout the COVID-19 shutdown. New assignments will be added for each week of the shutdown. Teachers in all content areas will be sharing supplemental resources via their websites and will provide feedback on submitted assignments, although a grade will not be given.
Please email or dojo me if you have any questions or if I can help assist with your student's individual needs. Also, please remember these are all resources for you and your child and are not required in any way.

Your child will have access to iReady during the school closure. This is an incredible resource they have access to for both math and reading! They will log into iReady the same way they normally do - through Clever. Lexia is another great resource for reading. They will use their log in to access it. 45 minutes a week per subject (Reading and Math) is ideal, but of course, not required by any means. I sent each parent or guardian a dojo message with student log in credentials. Again, if you need any help with this process please email or send me a dojo and I will be happy to assist you.
