About Dr. O'Kain
Dr. O’Kain graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with her bachelors and Master’s of Education. She received her Doctorate from Lipscomb University in Education and Leadership. She has taught for 12 years at Roy Waldron Elementary in second and third grades, as well as the director of the Roy Waldron Drama Team. She is currently in her 7th year teaching Gifted Education at Cedar Grove Elementary, Rutherford County Virtual School, Roy Waldron Elementary, and Roy Waldron Annex. She also teaches musical theater with students at Roy Waldron and with Carpe Artista in Smyrna.
