RCS launches distance learning plan during COVID-19 shutdown. While nothing can replace face-to-face interaction with an educator, access to instructional materials is essential during an extended closure. Beginning the week of April 6, 2020, RCS will offer optional assignments and activities to keep students engaged throughout the COVID-19 shutdown. New assignments will be added for each week of the shutdown. Teachers in all content areas will be sharing supplemental resources via their websites and will provide feedback on submitted assignments, although a grade will not be given. These will be updated weekly.

Please email me or dojo me if you have any questions or how I can help assist with your student's individual needs. Also, please remember these are all resources for you and your child and not required in any way.

Your child will have access to iReady during the school closure. This is an incredible resource they can access for both math and reading! They will log into iReady the same way they typically do - through Clever. Lexia is another great resource for reading. They will use their log in to access it. 45 minutes a week per subject (Reading and Math) is ideal, but of course, not required.
