Welcome

Welcome!

My name is Kara Smith, and I am the school counselor for Roy Waldron Annex. I am originally from Georgia, where I got my Undergraduate Degree in Sociology. I moved to Tennessee to pursue my Education Specialist Degree in School Counseling, which I graduated with in December 2021. It has been a passion of mine for years to help guide and advocate for children, and I am so glad to be doing it here at this school.

In my free time, I enjoy being at the lake, rock climbing, running, napping, reading, and snuggling with my cat, Zion.

I am here for you and your student, so please don't hesitate to reach out at any time.
