Get to know the Principal, Dr. Jackson

Dr. Alexandria Jackson has dedicated over twenty years to the field of education, beginning her career as an elementary school teacher. Throughout her journey, she has served in several impactful roles, including instructional coach, dean of instruction, and assistant principal.

 

A proud alumna of Tennessee State University, Dr. Jackson earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education. She later continued her academic journey at Lipscomb University, where she obtained an Educational Specialist degree, followed by a Doctor of Education in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change.

 

As an educational leader, Dr. Jackson is committed to creating inclusive learning environments where all students have the opportunity to grow, thrive, and showcase their talents. She strongly believes in the power of partnerships with parents and the community as essential drivers of student success.

 

As Principal of Roy Waldron School, Dr. Jackson is deeply committed to the school’s mission to Embrace, Encourage, Empower, and Educate every student. Her leadership is rooted in a belief that all children deserve a supportive and inclusive learning environment where they can reach their full potential.
